South Carolina delegates left a message for Shawn Hagan on his Facebook page after he dropped his phone during a foot chase Friday.
South Carolina delegates who were not able to chase a fleeing drug suspect caught with the man on his Facebook page.
“Hi Shawn, you lost your phone while running from the police,” said the post on Shawn Hagan’s Facebook page Friday. “Contact the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office if you want it back.”
Deputies used Hagan the phone, to hack his Facebook account.
On the department Facebook page, they wrote a new post, looking for tips on Hagan’s whereabouts.

The post read, “does anyone know Shawn Hagan? (Not asking for a friend) We would really like to return with his phone. The next time, put all the valuables before they are executed.”
Hagan was nabbed Saturday, but not before trying to escape to the delegates again, The State newspaper reported Sunday.
Delegates thanked those tips with the help of them to find Hagan.
The State reported that the sheriff’s office Facebook post was shared more than 2,400 times since Friday.

“Hagan will be faced with costs for the first flight as well as drug charges,” deputies said, adding the hashtag, “#DontBeLikeShawn.”
Online records show Hagan, 30, was taken into custody on charges of possession of meth with intent to distribute.
