The death toll from the attack on that Saturday in the Nigerian region Kajuru has taken place, has risen to 130. It was in response to the presidential election a week.
First, it was thought that there were 66 people were killed by armed men, among whom 22 children and 12 women. The death toll is now doubled, says the governor of the Nigerian state of Kaduna, where the attack took place, Tuesday.
He also stated that the police, the attack still investigating but that there are probably ethnic motives play a role.
There is no indication that the attack would have anything to do with the presidential elections this week would take place. The elections have been shifted to Saturday.
