Death toll after the explosion in a Chinese chemical factory rises to 62

The death toll after the explosion in an industrial park in the Chinese city of Yancheng has now risen to 62. Also, more than six hundred people were injured, among whom were 32 serious, report Chinese state media Saturday.

According to the Chinese authorities, there are also more than 28 people missing.

The exact cause of the explosion in the chemical plant is not yet known. According to state media, there would be benzene exploded. Benzene is a colorless and highly flammable liquid that is primarily from petroleum and is won.
