Dead in plane crash on mall Australia
A small plane is Tuesday morning in Australia crashed on an outlet centre near the airport of Essendon, just outside Melbourne. All five occupants were killed.
According to local authorities, it was a chartered plane. The passengers were on their way to King Island for a golf trip. On the ground no casualties.
Immediately after the accident, there were huge clouds of smoke and a fireball, to see the place where the device landed. According to the Australian police, none of the occupants in the accident survived.
The crash is presumably caused by a malfunction in the engine. The accident happened quite soon after take-off. The pilot tried to return to the airport.
The fire department is nearly two engaged to put out the fire. The jet fuel caused a huge fire.
It is the heaviest luchtvaartongeluk in thirty years in the state of Victoria. The prime minister of the state, Daniel Andrews, said that it was an “extremely sad day.”
