Germaine de Randamie frustrated so firmly that they Saturday not in action at the Fight Night in Ahoy. The injured former UFC champion in Rotterdam replaced by Talita de Oliveira.

De Randamie looked forward to her fight against the American Marion Reneau. To her regret, she must be her place to give it to the Brazilian kooivechtster, so made the organization Tuesday known.

“I wanted to be there for your own audience, really great grooves. Ahoy had on its foundations to shake,” says Randamie against NUsport.

Last year at the first edition of the MMA gala in Rotterdam was The Randamie too strong for Anna Elmose, that already in the first round knock-out.

“That was really by far the best moment of my career,” says De Randamie. “The standing ovation I received and the love of the hometown audience, I will never forget. Really, I liked that a lot and a lot prettier than the world title that I later in the UFC conquered.”

De Randamie is struggling for some time with an inflamed tendon in her hand. They therefore can not come into action at the Ahoy, as it turned out at the end of last week. “I wanted to postpone the surgery until after the battle in Rotterdam. The doctors gave me initially consent to fight, but unfortunately that is not possible.”

After she won wereldtitelgevecht in February against Holly Holm came Randamie no longer in action. “In the run up to the Fight Night in Ahoy, I have all of my banked free days, so I was on the training could switch. I work as a civil servant, because I have not so much sponsors have, as some of the other fighters. Unfortunately, that is all for nothing proven.”

De Randamie lost her UFC title this past summer, because they refused to be in the cage to steps against Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino due to the dopingverleden of the Brazilian.

The Utrecht declared in July: “everything on everything” to restart the world title in the UFC to conquer. That’s what she wants to do in the bantamgewichtsklasse, a lighter category than the featherweight, which she previously champion was.
