De Persgroep has recently the companies Medialaan, and Independer acquired, and has therefore decided the company name to change. De Persgroep is called from now on DPG Media.
The new name is seen as a major step in the new international course. “The School is thirty years ago started as a Flemish publishing house of newspapers and magazines. Gradually we have grown into a multimedia company that in three countries. The recent acquisitions of Medialaan and Independer have this evolution accelerated”, explains CEO Christian Van Thillo.
