The freshman Congressman lashes out about the immigration crisis, reaction, and analysis on ‘the Five.’
New York City mayor Bill de Blasio said on Wednesday, to describe the Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY “wrong,” migrant detention centres as “concentration camps.”
“They are two completely different realities,” de Blasio, a 2020 democratic presidential candidate, said MSNBC’s “Meet The Press every Day.”
“And so you was wrong, and they would criticize, they would not tell her to use that language?”, host Chuck Todd asked.

“I respect you very much and I feel her very close in terms of philosophy, but of course she was wrong,” de Blasio said of Ocasio-Cortez. “You can’t compare what the Nazis did in the concentration camps, unfortunately without any historical — I mean, it is a terrible moment in history. There is no way to compare.”
De Blasio also criticized statements by former US Vice-President Joe Biden in which Biden recalled how he had worked to do with segregation ists to “things”, while a member of the U.S. Senate.

“We can not be said to be broken, a Democrat, talking about the past, as if there was virtue in him,” de Blasio.
Ocasio-Cortez, has refused to apologize for their comparison, and blasted congressional Republicans for what they saw as a reluctance to address migrants-conditions on the border. “I will never Wednesday to apologize for calling this stock, what you are,” she tweeted earlier. She also claimed that she was not a comparison of the detention facilities to the Nazi death camps, but to previous camps, what concentrated you said on the “mass detention of civilians without trial.”
