Dayton and the shooter was pro-gun control, a friend says

The shooter, who is a deadly shot nine people — including his sister — and wounded more than two dozen in the Dayton, Ohio, early in the morning, the anti-Second Amendment” and “would never spit out of a conservative view on gun control,” according to a former classmate and friend.

Conner Betts, 24, who was killed by the police in less than a minute after he opened fire with an AR-15-style rifle out of a crowded bar, and attended Bellbrook high School and the El-Fakir, of the Dayton Daily News reported.

El-Fakir, told the newspaper that he stopped to talk to the Beets, five months ago, after Betts allegedly held a gun to his head.

El-Fakir, told the newspaper that Betts was “not a right-leaning person. His political views are certainly put to the left. And, believe it or not, he was actually a pro-gun control. He was actually an anti-Second Amendment.”

“I don’t know if this is the driving force that made him snap,” Al-Fakir, told the Dayton Daily News.

In the last few months of their friendship, ” El-Fakir, said Betts was becoming increasingly violent with their friends, and the public bars, if you are doing “harm.”

A Twitter feed, which seems to have belonged to Betts also proved to be a left-leaning tweets in to complain about the 2016 election, the President’s Trump card. The account, @iamthespookster not bear Betts’ name, but it showed the selfies that seemed to be well-known photos of him.

Twitter took the account down late on Sunday, it feeds the speculation that it belonged to the Beets. Betts has also appeared in support of the 2020 Democratic presidential contender Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, according to The Associated Press.

The account stands in contrast to the one run by Patrick, and Crusius, who is accused of a shooting massacre at El Paso, Texas, on Saturday, which claimed 22 lives. The 21-year-old accused espoused an anti-immigrant tendencies in the future, according to a manifesto to the authorities to claim it was his.

Betts, was reported to have been suspended during his sophomore year of high school, to put together a “hit list” of people he wanted to kill and “rape” is a list of the girls who he would sexually assault.

Following an investigation by the police, and Beets to go back to school and didn’t have anything on his record that would have prevented him from purchasing the gun used in Sunday’s mass shooting, Dayton Police Chief Richard Biehl said.

In high school, he was also allegedly told a female classmate that he fantasized about cutting her throat. In an effort to help him, the girl and her parents approached the school’s administration, but they said that they would not have been taken seriously.

The gunman’s sister, Megan Betts, 22, a student at Wright State University, was one of nine people who died in the shooting. The police have not released a motive.
