David Letterman returns to television with a talk show to Netflix
David Letterman will get next year own talk show at Netflix. The 70-year-old presenter, who in 2015 say goodbye to CBS talk show, Late Show, currently six episodes.
Letterman includes in-depth interviews and covers topics outside of the studio, writes The Hollywood Reporter.
His program is, in contrast to the Late Show, pre-recorded. What guests he will interview, it is not yet known.
“I am pleased with this project from Netflix” responds Letterman. “What I the last time learned is the following: if you retire to have more time to spend with your family, discuss this first with your family. Thanks for watching and drive carefully.”
Letterman made for NBC and CBS in 33 years, more than six thousand episodes of the talk shows Late Night and The Late Show. Retiring from that last program was created in 2015 by almost fourteen million viewers followed.
