Daugherty in Netflix comedy Dear White People

The American filmmaker Justin Simien has actor Brant Daugherty cast for a recurring role in the Netflix comedy Dear White People.
The comedyserie is based on the eponymous satirical film from Simien that last year in the cinemas was to see. Simien will give input on the series and a number of episodes to direct, reports Deadline.
The series takes place on the predominantly white university Ivy League, where racial tensions often under the rug to be swept. Brant Daugherty play the role of Thane Lockwood, he is a little sufkop of the football team. Dear White People is going to in 2017 premiered on Netflix. Brant Daugherty is best known for his role as Noel Kahn in the tienerserie Pretty Little Liars and played the role of Patrick Clarke in the series On Wives. In 2013, he was in the American version of Dancing with the Stars. In Fifty Shades Freed, the third part in the Fifty Shades trilogy, plays Daugherty the role of bodyguard for the main character Anastasia Steele.
