The personal data of nearly a thousand North Koreans to the south are revealed to have been leaked.
The South Korean ministry of Unification reported that the computer of a institute that defectors to South Korea guides, was infected with malicious software.
As a result, inter alia, the dates of birth, names and addresses of 997 emigrated North Koreans leaked, according to the South Korean news agency Yonhap. The ministry did not say who was responsible for stealing the data and what the motive of this would be.
