Data of 1400 UMCG patients leaked after the theft of the laptops
The data of almost 1,400 patients have been leaked, after the theft of three laptops from the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG).

The laptops at the end of October have been stolen from the Beatrix children’s Hospital, part of the UMCG. It goes according to a spokeswoman for the hospital to contact details (name, address, place of residence), dates of birth and patiëntnummers. “Fortunately, no medical information, but this is natuurlijjk total not intended.”
