Danilo replaces the Real for Manchester City, Kolarov to Roma
Danilo leaves Real Madrid for Manchester City. The 26-year-old right back signed on Sunday a five-year contract with the English club of manager Pep Guardiola. City sold defender Aleksandar Kolarov to Roma.
Danilo was at Real Madrid, the Spanish champion and winner of the Champions League, not assured of a starting.
Trainer Zinedine Zidane gave back right often preferred to Dani Carvajal. Danilo came in two seasons to 55 official matches for the “Royal,” in which he score three goals made.
The Brazilian international won with Real Madrid two times in a row the Champions League. “I could choose from many clubs, but I’ve always been under Pep Guardiola want to play,” said Danilo Sunday. “When I heard that the City was interested, I wanted to immediately go.”
