“The children, Steve. We had two small kids popping up dead on the border. This is not a political question. … Everyone needs to have all of your policy and throw it in the garbage for two minutes here,” former U.S. Secret Service agent said on “Fox & Friends”.

Bongino was on the news that the bodies of four people, including children, have been recovered, the Texas authorities along the border.

“Why don’t we these politicians and say to themselves, ‘what causes parents to put their children in danger to do this?'” he asked.

Bongino said “the answers are simple,” and it comes to the “broken asylum laws,” and the policy, the migrants incentives to the dangerous journey to the border.

“Just fix it. Get your heads out of your collective ass and fix the damn thing!”, he said.

Host Brian Kilmeade expressed the hope that Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S. C., and White House adviser Jared Kushner are approaching a compromise.

“From your mouth to God’s ears,” Bongino responded, adding that he doubts that the Democrats want the gaps to close, because the mainstream media is successful, people to convince you that President Trump is to blame.

“As if he had not given the Democrats a number of ways to fix this,” he concluded.

President Trump announced on Saturday that a planned mass roundup of illegal immigrants, the delay of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for two weeks, in the hope that a bipartisan solution to the border crisis can be achieved.

“At the request of the Democrats, I have delayed, the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (deportation) for two weeks to see if Democrats and Republicans can join together and work on a solution for the asylum and the gap, the problems on the southern border,” he tweeted.
