Lyles was considered a person of interest in the death of 26-year-old Chynal Lindsey, a black transgender woman, whose body was pulled from White Rock Lake on June 1, and his death bore similarities to that of Booker, the researchers said.

Investigators were looking into whether one of the unresolved murder of another transgender woman, Brittany White, as well as a sharp with the fourth transgender woman, was connected to Lyles.
