Dakota Johnson is not wavering in her relationship with Antonio Banderas.
The “Suspiria” actress presented her the “Perfect” step-father with a Hollywood Actor Award on Sunday at the Hollywood Film Awards in Los Angeles, california released a tribute to Banderas, 59, who is married to Johnson’s mom, Melanie Griffith, and for nearly 20 years before the couple split up at the end of 2015.
“When I was 6 years old, my mother married a man who is an incredibly bright light and a whole new world of creativity and culture, and it is a remarkable, magic sister [Stella Banderas, 23], in our family,” Johnson, 30, told the audience.

“My step-father, Antonio Banderas, came on in our lives,” she said. “He was so lively and so much fun, and so funny, and its English abstract. We have found it to be quite amazing. He loved my mother, and my brothers and sisters and I used to so intense and so big, and so loud, that it will change our lives forever.”
“Antonio taught me about passion and discipline,” Johnson added.
In spite of Banderas and Griffith split after 18 years of marriage to the “Desperado” star, he said he still loves his ex-wife and said that she was definitely still in the “family.”

“Everything that happened in those years, very, very soon,” Banderas told me recently on the Hawk. “My life was fast and exciting as I can actually see it in retrospective. I remember those years as very much alive, and very, very good.”
“It’s probably one of my best friends, so it’s not the best friend that I have. My family was there, with Dakota [Johnson], and Small, Estella, Alexander,” he added, in reference to Griffith, the 34-year-old son, Alexander, and Steven Bauer.

Last Thursday, Banderas has revealed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that he would not be alive today had it not been for his current ex-girlfriend, model Nicole Kimpel to the saving of his life, when he was the subject of a massive heart attack in January of 2017.
“I was living in a not nice way. I’m not a heavy drinker. I was a smoker, which was probably one of the dumbest things I’ve ever done in my life,” Banderas explained, It is about his life prior to his heart attack. “I was very happy, after all.”

“The night before I had been to this event, my friend, and she had a headache, and we didn’t have anything in the house. So, she went out to buy some, a pain-killer, or what have you,” Banderas recalled. “They’re just aspirin, which is the only thing that they found, and they found it to be a maximum, I think, is that it was made in five parts.”
Banderas, maintained that it was the bottle of aspirin that’s been saved from the several-time Golden Globe award nominee’s life, when he bore it to his a heart attack the next day.
