Cynthia Nixon team cites sexism about room temperature ahead of Cuomo debate: report

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is scheduled to debate gubernative candidate Cynthia Nixon in Long Island on Wednesday evening.

A help for Cynthia Nixon, a Democrat running in the New York gubernatorial primary against Governor Andrew Cuomo, allegedly asked to control the temperature of the room in which the two candidates are scheduled to debate this week, citing sexism.

Nixon and Cuomo are debate Wednesday night set at the Hofstra University in Long Island, moderated and broadcast by WCBS-TV.

The news-station, Which, according to the New York Times, received an E-Mail from Nixon ‘ s team last week requested that the station keep the debate room the temperature at 76 degrees.

Cuomo like to work in cool conditions, The Times reported in 2011, according to the governor’s inauguration.

Rebecca Katz, a strategist for Nixon, supposedly, the local CBS station the work told conditions are “notoriously sexist when it want to the room temperature, so we only have to ensure that we are all on the same page here.”

Katz told the newspaper that on Tuesday she had not yet heard of WCBS, which declined to comment to The times.

A recent Siena College poll found that Cuomo is the future of Nixon, to lead with a 60-29 percent. The primary is Sept. 13.
