Cyberexpert of the Russian secret service arrested for treason
The authorities in Russia have a high-ranking cyberexpert of the Russian security service FSB detained in Moscow. He could have adopted from foreign organizations and is accused of treason.
Also Ruslan Stojanov, head of the research department of cyberveiligheidsbedrijf Kaspersky Lab in Russia, in Moscow were arrested and accused of treason.
The two are already since december jam, writes the Russian newspaper Kommersant on Wednesday on the basis of sources in the FSB.
Kaspersky Lab has confirmed that Stojanov is stuck. The company emphasizes that his arrest has nothing to do with his work at Kaspersky and that it does not affect the work of the department. Stojanov worked until 2006 for the police and would have acted as a contact person for Michailov.
