Creators Gooische vrouwen create new comedy film
The creators of the Gooische Women come in 2018 with the movie, Doris, based on the eponymous tv series with Tjitske Reidinga in the lead role.
Doris is a collaboration between Talpa Fiction and RTL and film distributor Entertainment One Benelux and from October 2018 to see in the cinemas, so they make Thursday known.
The recordings start in march. The team behind the feature film Doris was previously the guarantor for the great success of Gooische vrouwen. The two movies about four friends in Gooi drew both around the two million visitors and are among the best-visited Dutch bioscooptitels ever.
The Net5 series Doris talks about a woman that a divorce forced her teenage son and daughter need to move from a luxury villa to a ground floor apartment in Amsterdam. The lead roles in the series were, in addition to Reidinga, Jacob Derwig, Gijs Scholten van Aschat, Monique van de Ven, Jules Croiset and Ellen Bird.
The film Doris has been developed by Will Koopman, who also Gooische vrouwen 1 and 2 and directed the series of Divorce co-invented. The scenario is of Rose Ouwehond; Albert Jan van Rees (Adios Amigos) is directing the picture.
