Creator of the popular game Diablo leave Blizzard
Chris Metzen, who was closely involved in the development of the classic games Diablo and Warcraft, leave, speluitgever Blizzard.
Metzen began 22 years ago at Blizzard, when the company was still a small startup. In 1996, he developed the popular game Diablo, along with former Blizzard developer Bill Roper. In addition, he has contributed to the also popular Warcraft and World of Warcraft.
The 42-year-old Metzen retires to focus more on his family, so he lays himself out on the site of Blizzard: “at Home with my family, have time to really live, and with all my strength of my wife to keep. That is now my career.”
