NASHVILLE, Tennessee. – Tanya Tucker is postponing tour dates after a fracture of a vertebrae and injuring a rib in a fall during the tour.
A statement from her publisher says Tucker was also diagnosed with bronchitis, while in a hospital in Texas. The statement says Tucker, is receiving breathing treatments and physical therapy, but will not need surgery.
The “Delta Dawn” singer new term of three tour dates in Kansas and Oklahoma. But Tucker, 58, said in a statement that they are “crazy” the accident has happened and it will be up to the fans.
Tucker’s hits include “Fast” and “Strong Enough to Bend.”
