A group of counter-protesters gathered in front of the office of California Rep. Maxine Waters Thursday, burn and kick an American flag to show after a group of right-wing protesters failed to.
The Oath Keepers said they would call a rally against the Congressman a “protest terrorist inciter” early Thursday afternoon to show and counter protesters, in support of waters.
A few dozen counter-protesters, including Union members, the leaders of the Church, South Los Angeles residents and members of activist groups, gathered in front of the office around lunch time.
Some of the demonstrators chanted “Black power”, while others Resist held signs that read,”!”
At some point during the protest, a vehicle with an American flag on the back approached and was of the mass.

Despite Fox News’ attempts to contact Waters were unsuccessful, the California Democrat, said a day earlier that “the Oath Keepers is nothing more than to inflame racial tensions, would like to and create an explosive conflict in our community,” and she called the way of counter-protesters to stay – was ignored.
It remains unclear whether the car was driving was connected to Thursday with the oath Keepers.
