The democratic presidential candidate who once compared himself to “Spartacus” is now vowing to fight the National Rifle Association.
Sen. Cory Booker, D-N. J., at the town hall event that aired on CNN Wednesday, the statement, in response to a North Carolina woman to the question of what he would do to the safety and freedoms of Americans, the “have to live every day in fear of armed violence in schools, places of worship, concerts, and even of law-enforcement authorities.”
“I’m tired, to funerals where parents bury their children, and so I’m gonna bring you a fight – we’re gonna fight like the NRA has never seen the to defend if you go the corporate gun manufacturer more than represent us, the people, the” Booker said of the cheering crowd.
“We’re going to bring the fight to any level necessary. I’m a guy that has taken on tough fights and won them, and this is one that we win.”

Booker added that he thinks that he has had the “only person in this race that filming on your block.”
“This is very personal, so many of us,” he said. “Me, because I’m a black man, and black males are six percent of the population of the country. But they make up the majority of homicide victims in this country.”
Booker, the NRA threw, not the representation of their members and, instead, more interested in loopholes that allow people with different criminal backgrounds to buy guns.

“I’m telling you now, we and the Americans on the most important questions, to which so many of them, we agree actually. Gun owners and non-gun owners agree that we need a universal background checks, and close as many of these loopholes,” he said. “And the NRA does not represent your membership. Since your membership actually agrees with the gaps.”
