Cory Booker said he was in “geek-love in the sky”, when he visited Comic-Con in 2019 in the San Diego Convention Center on Friday.
The U.S. senator from New Jersey was the first of the 2020 democratic presidential candidate visit to the comic convention this year. He spent his time interacting with the electorate, with which, as a super hero and tries on virtual reality goggles.
He stepped inside a mock space capsule in the “Star Trek: Discovery” exhibition, the Los Angeles Times reported.

“I love science fiction. I love fantasy adventure. You can call it that. It brings me just now that I haven’t seen ‘Spider-Man.’ Here geek is, for me, love the sky,” Booker told the newspaper.
Booker said, the genres of entertainment will be celebrated at Comic-Con-both science-fiction and superhero stories are a “wonderful part of our culture, a country.” Super heroes worth, and people who dedicate their lives to do service, good and help others, he said.
“I grew up as a huge superhero fan,” he told the newspaper. “You said to me, where I was like a little kid. That was really, really helpful. You anchored me, but also helped me to dream. This type of art is really a very strong shaping of our culture.”
Booker for “Star Trek”,” the science-fiction series narrative of the starship USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) and its crew travel through a futuristic space universe. He said, “Star Trek” shows how humanity can overcome the challenges of poverty, hunger and racial tensions.
