Convicted paedophile goes out after getting sentenced to 260 years in prison: report

A Rhode Island man allegedly went into the court of the Friday, upon learning that he would be sentenced to 260 years in prison.

Thomas Goodman, 45, was convicted of sexual abuse of multiple young children – regained consciousness shortly after The Providence Journal.

Goodman was reportedly ordered sequentially in the fulfilment of his sentence. He was convicted on eight counts of sexual exploitation of children – 30 years – and one count of possession of sadistic and masochistic child pornography, for which he received an additional 20 years, the outlet said.

Goodman was accused of sexually abusing two 6-year-old girls, as well as a 3-week-old baby, according to The Magazine.

U. S. District Court Judge John J. McConnell, who handed down the sentence, reportedly said that it was his duty to protect the community of Goodman.

“The only way I can do that is to ensure that you are never out of prison again,” McConnell said. “I have no guarantee that you will stop.”
