Conte put signature under the improved two-year contract at Chelsea
Antonio Conte has Tuesday, in spite of his alleged dissatisfaction with the transferbeleid a new contract at Chelsea. The Italian manager is under improved terms and conditions for another two years when the champion of England.
Conte signed last year at his entrance into London for a three-year commitment with the ‘Blues’ and state so until the summer of 2019, under contract at Stamford Bridge.
“I am very happy with my new contract,” says the 47-year-old Italian on the website of Chelsea. “We have in our first year worked tirelessly to create something great to achieve and I am very proud of. Now we have to work harder in order to remain at the top.”
In his first season crowned Conte is right to champion with Chelsea. After the win of the Premier League title, he succeeded there but not in the double pack, because in the final of the FA Cup proved to be fellow-townsman Arsenal too strong.
Conte, who previously was working for Juventus, and as coach of Italy, looks back with a good feeling in his first year in West London. “I have so much support from the fans and it is important that together we continue.”
Director Marina Granovskaia is also to speak about the new deal. “He has something incredible performance in his first year. This new contract reflects our faith that he results, keep books in both England and Europe.”
The past few weeks was in England, speculated on a possible rift between Conte and Chelsea. The Italian would be unhappy about the lack of decisiveness of the clubleiding on the transfer list. So took the ‘Blues’ in addition to striker Romelu Lukaku, who to Manchester United.
