Conjoined twins now separated say ‘dada’ for the first time

It was all love and hugs for two formerly conjoined twins, who are doing well since they left the Bronx hospital where they were separated in October and have appeared in a new video, in which a sweet coos, “Dada.”

Anias and Jadon McDonald have been in a rehabilitation center because she left Montefiore Medical Center after Thanksgiving. They are able to have a lot of quality time with their father, Christian McDonald, and mother, Nicole, who appeared in a video online in which the 14-month-old boys to cuddle in bed surrounded by toys.

“Dada,” Jadon said repeatedly.

“My heart has to continue to grow to all the love that you create in me,” Nicole wrote on Facebook, adding heart emojis.

Her joy was tempered, however, by what they described as offensive and abusive comments from online trolls who criticised her decision to the twins, who were born joined at the head.
