The state of the mayor of the Polish city of Gdansk, is still critical. The 53-year-old Pawel Adamowicz was Sunday night stabbed during a concert in the city.
Adamowicz breathes now not independent, says one of his doctors Monday afternoon. His heart and lungs are supported by medical devices. The mayor was hit in his heart and belly.
The 27-year-old perpetrator of the stabbing used a knife 14.5 inches, reports the website of Gdansk. The man was immediately after the act held. What his motive was, is not known. Several public prosecutors are investigating the stabbing.
Dozens of people have Monday in the bloeddonatiecentrum of Gdansk reported to donate blood to Adamowicz, who is a major surgery behind him.
