Companies are more and more on social media

Companies are becoming increasingly active on social networks. For example, 61 percent of the businesses last year to a private account on Facebook or LinkedIn. In 2012 it was 35 percent.
The use of Twitter during the same period increased from 21% to 30%. Especially large companies have online their face. The Central Bureau for Statistics (CBS) reports that on Friday.
Almost nine out of ten media companies, travel agents and accommodation providers’ (hotels, bed and breakfasts) are active on social media. To carriers is much less the case, as have 38 percent of the companies own account.
Also the employees are more active on professional social media. The 25 – to 45-year-olds are the main group. One of them was 41 percent last year, represented on such sites. In 2012 was 21 percent.
These are people who are busy with their career. Among 20 – to 25-year-olds, people who begin their career, increased the use of social media from 28 to 35 percent.
From the CBS research also found that messaging services like WhatsApp and Snapchat now more popular than Facebook and Twitter. These networks see the last time more older people, while young people just leave.
