Commemoration uprising Tunisia degenerates into riots

The sixth annual commemoration of the popular revolt in Tunisia this weekend ended in riots. Demonstrators clashed at several places in the North African country, with the police.
The riots come at a sensitive time. Tunisians came six years ago in the uprising against the regime of Zine el Abidine Ben Ali. He crashed, and also in some other Arab countries dictatorships had to give way.
Tunisia is the only country where during the Arab Spring, democracy was introduced. Still alive among part of the population is much dissatisfaction because of the unemployment. Especially in rural areas, young people often have few economic options.
So protested the young people in the city of Gafsa against a visit by president Beji Caid Essebsi. They threw stones and blocked the road. According to residents and the local media had to the convoy with the president, this forces a different route to take.
