The former FBI Director, James Comey, the preparation for the rollout of his new tell-all book, took a swipe at President Donald Trump on Tuesday.

Tweeting a picture of himself sitting by himself, while recording the conversations of the two men have recorded the audio version of the book, Comey poked fun at Trump’s earlier assertion that.

“Lordy, this time it is a Band,” wrote Comey. “Audio book is almost ready.”

After the burn Comey last may, Trump tweeted that Comey “better hope that there are no ‘tapes’ of our conversations, before he begins leaking to the press!”

The tweet sparked intense debate across the political spectrum, and Congress required that all shots be rotated.

“I saw the tweet about the bands. Lordy, I hope there are tapes,” said Comey, when asked about the President’s warning during the June Senate Intelligence Committee hearing.

“I hope so, and I will consent to the publication of them,” he added.

Pressed, all shots, Trump later, the implication was that it tapes in a pair of June, tweets.

“With all of the recently reported electronic surveillance, intercepting, exposing and illegal leakage of information, I have no idea if there are ‘bands’ or records of my talks with James Comey, but I didn’t make it and don’t have those recordings,” wrote the President of the Commission.

The book is detailed Comey’s “still-never-told experiences of some of explore the highest stakes of his career in the past two decades by the American government to, as a good, ethical leadership looks like and how it drives, well-informed decisions.”
