The former FBI-Director James Comey said in an interview on Wednesday that President Trump may justice be hampered in its decision to fire him.

Comey’s remarks came a clip of his NBC Nightly News interview, Lester Holt brought the conversation back to the beginning of may, 2017, when Comey testified before the Senate judiciary Committee.

During this hearing, Comey spoke on a variety of topics, including the Clinton E-Mail inquiry.

“But you refused to answer questions specifically about the evidence for a cooperation at this point. A few days later, you are dismissed,” said Holt.

“A few days later, I sit down with President Trump,” he continued. “He says, ‘when I decided to just do it,’ talk to fire you,” I said to myself, I said, you know, the Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made-up story.’ What did you think when you hear that?”

Comey replied: “I thought that possibly hope obstruction of justice, and I someone is watching.”

The deposed official went on to say that he knew what was in the trump suit the head at the time.

But what it seems to say to the President, “is, ‘I got rid of this guy to shut down an investigation that threatened me,'” Comey said.

Trump fired Comey on 9. May 2017, in which he him in a short letter with that he could not “lead effectively” in the office.
