Comedian Johan Goossens stops teaching
Johan Goossens stops teaching. The comedian made up to now four theatre programmes and two columnbundels in which his work as a teacher at a ROC, a red wire was.
Goossens made his departure Thursday announced on his Facebook page.
“The story is told and it is time for new challenges,” writes Goossens. He says that the different roles of a teacher and a comedian is sometimes difficult to combine were: ”Teacher is a profession where you are through your position and responsibility better not constantly with you privébeslommeringen to purchase can walk. But if you as a comedian is a good program, want to make, do you understand and research all of your human weaknesses, or at least I do.”
In the show, Darkroom Diaries, a program that the comedian this spring in Britain, played and developed, played his experiences with sex in the gay scene a big role. This gelegenheidsprogramma forms the basis for his new full-length performance FLAME, which Goossens coming season is going to be touring.
“With FLAME, I hope, from the personal to something universal, to make what appeals to us,” explains the comedian. “It’s about sex and shame and from there about the society. It is not flat, but personal and vulnerable, and I want to be able to move freely without that eternal question: “But aren’t you a teacher?’ “
This is an exciting quest, acknowledge Goossens. “But I want to have the room to myself to be able to express themselves without that the school may suffer from problems. And without that, I myself go censor with the realization that I was again the next day for the class will stand.”
He expresses the hope that his audience knows him from the docentenverhalen to FLAME: “It is a very social program, which, according to me, people can really hit.”
