Colorado bear trying to get donuts tears off car bumper

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. – A bear trying to get donuts has ripped off the bumper of a car that is used for the delivery of donuts in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

The Steamboat Pilot & Today reports, Todd and Kim Robertson woke up early Monday to a black bear trying to break into the delivery of the vehicle.

There were no donuts in it at the time, but Kim Robertson says the odour that was stuck in the car appeared to have attracted the bear.

The bear made his attempt on Monday as the car was parked in the short driveway.

Police officer John McCartin says he smelled donuts and stand outside the damaged vehicle.

He joked: “I think that if anyone is an expert on this, it’s us.”
