Coach Wiegman relieved after hard fought victory Oranjevrouwen

Coach Sarina Wiegman was Thursday night and is relieved after the hard fought 1-0 victory of the Oranjevrouwen on Denmark in the second team contest the european CHAMPIONSHIP. Her team remained intact in a thrilling final and picked up three important points.

“In the second half we were mainly at the stop. We were unable to get the ball in to team, so it was really exciting,” said Wiegman, after the end of The Castle against the NIS.

“We’re not going to change things, so we don’t come for a draw play,” says Wiegman. “We want that contest just to win.”
