Estavana Polman also plays next season, Team Esbjerg. The Danish club is on Tuesday announced that the contract with the handbalster of Orange with one year is extended.
The 26-year-old Polman will result in her seventh season with the team’s start. The linkeropbouwspeelster is on the website of Esbjerg described as a “clubicoon”.
“I love it here fantastic and my family has a good mood,” says the girlfriend of former national football player Rafael van der Vaart, who in november ended his career.
Van der Vaart also played in Denmark for Esbjerg fB. In the summer of 2017 gave birth to the couple’s daughter Jesslynn.
“If it’s with Rafael and Jesslynn goes well, then it goes with me too well,” says Polman. “The club is my second home has become and I still see development in the team.”

Polman lost with Esbjerg in 2014, the final of the EHF Cup. In 2016 she became Danish champion with her club and a year later won Esbjerg in the cup.

Polman played 130 international matches
Polman has played 171 matches for Esbjerg and made therein 952 goals. The birth of Arnhem began with handball at AAC Arnhem and later on played for VOC Amsterdam. In 2011 she moved to Denmark to be with SönderjyskE to play and two years later, she switched to Esbjerg.
In 130 international matches for Orange she made 459 hits. At the european CHAMPIONSHIPS in december in France, was Polman with 36 goals, the most surefire player of the Netherlands and sixth on the topscorerslijst of the tournament.
Orange was third in that CHAMPIONSHIP. Previously won Polman with the national team also medals at the 2015 world CHAMPIONSHIPS (silver), the world CHAMPIONSHIPS of 2017 (bronze) and the 2016 european CHAMPIONSHIPS (silver). At the Olympic Games in 2016 fingering the Netherlands with a fourth place just next to medals at their home race.
