The nineteen-year-old ‘jihadbruid’ Shamima Begum is not a British citizen. The British Interior minister Sajid Javid has her citizenship revoked for the British society to protect.
The young woman left as a fifteen-year-old student, shortly after the death of her mother, from London to the ‘caliphate’ of Islamic State. They got married with the Dutch jihadist Yago Riedijk from Arnhem.
Currently staying in a Syrian refugee camp. Last weekend she brought a son to the world. It is her third child. The first two children are deceased.
It is not entirely clear where Riedijk at this time. According to the BBC, he has recently surrendered to a Syrian post. Against news channel ITV says Begum that she is considering a Dutch citizenship.
