Chrissy Teigen says she was ‘drinking too much’ after her first child in a new interview with Women’s Health.
Chrissy Teigen knows that mental health is just as important as physical health.
The mother of two recalled a time when she and her husband, John Legend went on a wellness retreat at the COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali to work on themselves.
“It’s like, what is there more important than mental health?” she noticed for the Health of Women. “What is more important than being proud of yourself and do the best you can for your body?”
Prior to the trip, Teigen, 32, fell into a dark spiral after the birth of daughter Luna in 2016.
“After Luna, I was drinking too much,” she said. “I was not to eat so much, because I was full from the drink. I was not good to my body. I remember that I bruised out of nowhere.” She soon publicly declared to cut down on her drinking.
Then came the difficult task of penning a follow-up to his first cookbook, “Crave.” Teigen pointed out that the time of the writing of the “forced.”
But things improved when the spoken stars started with an antidepressant.
She and Legend have welcomed their second child, a son, Miles, in May. The former swimsuit model is not afraid to be graphic about the changes in her body has undergone in the past few years, saying: “I look at my breasts and I’m like, ‘What the heck happened?’ They face to the outside now,” she said.
“They are as large disks. I don’t even know how to hide them. I forget that people still like, ‘Whoa!’ And I don’t mean to shove my boobs in their faces.”
With two children and a busy career, when Teigen and Legend have time for intimate moments?
“It doesn’t matter who you are—even if you are a sexy R&B singer and ex-swimsuit model, you’re just tired! We still have that passion for each other, but we do it at a random moment in a dressing room? No! ” she laughed. “We’ll get back into it again. But it’s funny: If he is performing somewhere, and I go, “I said,” Oh, he is sexy.’ We’ll probably have sex that night.”
