Fans didn’t have to see Chrissy Teigen on Snapchat anytime soon.
The 32-year-old model announced on Saturday they will no longer be using the social media platform after Snapchat published a “religious” ad asks users if they would instead of “the blow of Rihanna” or “punch Chris Brown.” They also referred to the new update that has been criticized by users, including Kylie Jenner.
“I’ve stopped using snap. The update, the ongoing complaints of people who are not able to find me, plus the Rihanna poll…no Bueno,” Teigen tweeted.

Snapchat issued an apology in mid-March after an ad was placed for the “Rather a” game on Snapchat and only visible for the users in the US seemed to be referring to the 2009 assault involving Rihanna and Chris Brown.

Rihanna hit Snapchat for the ad that “would intentionally bring shame” of domestic violence victims. The singer said her rant was not about her personal feelings, but about all “women, children and men who have been a victim” of domestic violence. Then she was to tell followers to delete Snapchat.
Chrissy Teigen said that she was going to stop with Snapchat after the recent update and Rihanna save ad.
The share price of Snap Inc., who is the owner of Snapchat, reportedly tumbled more than 4 percent after the singer, with the point of criticism.

Jenner, who is one of the most popular Snapchat users, also had a similar negative effect on the social media stock price after she wrote on Twitter: “is there someone else that is not open Snapchat more? Or is it just me…ugh this is so sad.”

The stock has fallen 6 percent in the amount of $1.3 billion — on the day the tweet is posted.
It is unclear whether Teigen the notes will also have the same effect.
