Chrissy Teigen does not “rot” when she had a mysterious insects crawling on her skin as daughter Luna closely in the holes.

“Time for another game of “what is this bug!?”!” Teigen, 32, wrote on Twitter, along with a video of the creature.

Teigen wrote a message to followers in white font in the middle of the video: “I swear to god, if one of you says to me that this is a fatal error, I will surrender.”

“Is there a god damn entomologist here,” she asked.

Several Twitter users told her that the bug was a tarantula hawk, a type of wasp.

“Oh my god, but he was so nice,” she said.

However, others suggested the bug was a potter wasp, paper wasp, both of which are vespids, among other creatures.

CHRISSY TEIGEN TELLS CRITICS WHY THEY DON’T TAKE OF JOHN LEGEND’S LAST NAME

Hello, I am an entomologist~ Identify can be a little tricky if you don’t post, but I take it you like your privacy haha. Everyone says Tarantula Hawk, but it looks more like a type of Vespid me (family vespidae paper wasps, hornets, etc.).

THANK YOU

After the submission to other experts in Vespid wasps, the consensus is in the direction of a paper wasp (Polistes sp., kind of unknown for now). Polistes wasps can inflict a serious sting in self-defense or in the defense of the nest, but are usually chilled as foraging away from the nest.

I agree with Vespid wing position and habitus.

Here. If other entomologists have already said, it is a paper wasp (Polisties) – not a gadfly, not a tarantula hawk. From the neighbourhood of their nest, they are friendly enough.

The National Park Service said tarantula hawks usually feed on flowers, but their appetite for the big spiders earned their name.

“While adult tarantula hawks are nectavores … they get their name because the adult females hunt tarantulas as food for their larvae,” the NPS said in a post online.

NPS notes that only female members of the species have stingers, but they can make a fist.

“They will not sting unless provoked, but their sting is reported to be the second most painful sting of any insect,” the agency described.

Teigen explained to critics that they do not “play” with the bug just landed on her with her daughter sitting nearby.

“Oh no, here comes the fun..okay I must not be in possession of a potentially deadly creatures? no. do I need to do to my daughter? Super no,” she admitted. “But it crept on me and seemed to be injured and well, not angry, not scary. And I’m normally super freaked (think house centipede??).”

I do it gently, and he crawled back. maybe it was my reincarnated in comparison. Or puddy the bulldog. Either way, everyone is good and the world continues to spin.

Teigen safely released the bug, but he “crawled back,” the model said, adding they shared a special bond.

Anyway, bug and I are friends now. And maybe with the time, beloved.
