Chinese money gives Slavia Prague a boost

The Czech champion, who in the third qualifying round of the Champions League in action, has been considerably reinforced.

For the first time since 2009 the new Slavia Prague last season to be the champion of the Czech republic. The club was for many years in heavy financial storm, but that came to an end in september 2015, when Slavia by the Chinese energy company CEFC was bought.

The true intentions of CEFC were never revealed, but it is suspected that the Chinese company to the Czech traditieclub used as propagandatool to economic contracts rijven. Chairman Jaroslav Trdik is also the head of the Czech leg of CEFC, which is regarded as the European headquarters of the Chinese company.
