SHANGHAI (Reuters) – China’s Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co Ltd takes cybersecurity seriously and adheres to the applicable laws and regulations where the group operates, the China Daily newspaper quoted the company on Thursday said.
“Hikvision takes cybersecurity very serious company and follows all applicable laws and regulations in the markets in which we operate,” he quoted the company as telling the newspaper.
“The company has already maintained the rights of the human expert and former U.S. ambassador Pierre-Richard Prosper to advise the company regarding the respect of human rights,” it added.
