China invests hundreds of billions in high-speed trains
In 2020, more than 80 percent of all major cities in China are connected to the high-speed rail network.
This has the Chinese minister of Transport Li Xiaopeng stressed, reported state news agency Xinhua Friday.
Li said that the country converted almost 2000 billion euro aside has laid for infrastructure projects between 2016 and 2020. If the money according to plan is issued, the drive will high-speed trains at least 80 percent of all cities with more than two hundred thousand inhabitants.
Currently, there is about 22,000 kilometres of railway line for the hsl and 130.000 km railway line for other high-speed trains in China.
