Eddie Johnson, the superintendent of Police of Chicago, has asked the department to investigate him after he was caught sleeping in a car at a stop sign, where the mayor of the city claims to be the top cop, had a couple of drinks in the evening.”
Johnson, 59, asked for the internal investigation after a passer-by saw it parked near a stop sign on a Thursday and called 911. The inspector said that, while he was driving, he felt light headed and pulled over.

Anthony guglielmi, a spokesman for the prosecutor’s office, said Johnson has changed the medication and he takes it earlier in the week, and have recently been concerned about the feeling of being exhausted.

“There were no charges of poisoning, information about poisoning, and as far as I know it,” said guglielmi.
But on Friday, Mayor Lori Lightfoot, told the Chicago Sun-Times, Johnson admits to her that he had been drinking alcohol with his most recent meal.
“I know what the director told me that he was a … change of medication … He had been out to dinner with a couple of people. He told me that he was going to drive home,” she said. “He was feeling sick and went to the side of the road, which he thought was the sensible thing to do … [Internal Affairs Division] and will sort out the rest.”

Lightfoot said they had “no reason to doubt Johnson’s story and said, “we know that he has had some medical problems.” The mayor said that they did not ask Johnson if he had been drinking, and he mentioned that he has revealed himself, that is, the information on their own.
Johnson, 59, blamed the incident on a medication mix-up.
Guglielmi, according to Johnson, the $260,044 per year, and requested an investigation of himself, because he thought that the officers of the police department, and the superintendent “ought to be held to the highest standard.”
“So, that means that they are going to do an interview with the officers, they’re going to have to look at all of the available evidence, simply in order to make sure that it is above-board and it came to pass, as described in,” the spokesman said.

Johnson, who was appointed in March of 2016, and the former Mayor, Rahm Emanuel, was admitted to the hospital in June after doctors found a small blood clot in his lungs during a stress test when the inspector has approached to the two-year anniversary of his kidney transplant, which happened in August of 2017.
