Anti-violence protesters shut down Chicago roads hazards
Chicago protesters marched to Wrigley Field, to the consciousness of the city, crime, crisis.
An anti-violence March in Chicago, short Lake Shore Drive closed on Thursday afternoon, as protesters demonstrate against the city’s spiraling crime, crisis and urged mayor Rahm Emanuel to step down.
A spokesman for the Chicago police said Lake Shore Drive was closed for about 35 minutes on Thursday afternoon, as protesters, Field marched in the direction of Wrigley, where the Cubs were scheduled to play later in the evening.
As soon as the protesters arrived at Wrigley field, about 400 protesters spent about 45 minutes singing, praying, and in a speech before dispersing.

The demonstrators waved signs demanding Emanuel’s resignation and chanted “one city, one Chicago” and “go to cream”, as fans saw in the interior of the Park.
The Chicago police Department conducted rolling road closures as the March went on, creating a traffic headache on the North side.

The March was timed to coincide with the start of the music festival Festivals such as Lollapalooza, in addition to the Cubs game. The organizers had tried it is not excluded, Wrigley Field, and predicts at least some of the protesters would be arrested.
As of Thursday afternoon, although the police said they had no arrests.
Photos posted on social media, a large number of people showed a lot, including some with signs, marching along the roadway.
Before the March, the protesters are clear that they do not want the democratic mayor, they were the support or the blessing, and urged him to resign, about what you get as its inability to, gun crime under control.
“The reputation of the people said ‘cream,'” Dr. Gregory Livingston, according to The Chicago Tribune. “So how, then, can you get back to your own regime change? How do you intend to sanctions of its own termination? How stupid, naive and self-hating, do you think, are we?”

“To be honest, if the mayor supported the protest, it is no longer a protest,” the Rev. Ira Acree said. “There will be a parade, and we are on a serious business.”
WMAQ reported that the protesters said they were to distribute to the search, “the pain and agony that no economic development on the South and West side to the North side.”
The March came after thousands of demonstrators shut down traffic on Interstate 94 in the past month, the attention on gun violence.
Chicago police said the city had 252 murders and 1,100 shootings in the first six months of 2018, a decline compared to the last year-but the crime is concentrated in predominantly black, low-income neighborhoods.
While Emanuel, this last protest was in the crosshairs, he had offered support — also Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner rant after he called on Emanuel to “an end to this kind of chaos.”
“It was a peaceful protest. Delete your account,” Emanuel replied.
