A Chicago woman and her daughter, accused of strangling a teenage mum, cut the fetus from her womb and claiming it as their own, were charged with first-degree murder Thursday in the death of a child.
The costs are piled on top of more than two dozen counts of first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping, injury to the human body and concealment of a homicide in relation to the teenage mother’s death.
Clarisa Figueroa, 46, and Desiree, 26, and her daughter, is said to have hatched a plan to lure the 19-year-old Marlen Ochoa-Lopez’s at their apartment, and steal her unborn baby, Clarisa 20-year-old son, died of natural causes in the end of 2018.

Clarisa’s boyfriend, Piotr Bobak, was charged with helping clean up the crime scene.
Clarisa told the family that she was pregnant in October, a revelation that is said to have come as a surprise, since she knew that she had her tubes tied. The plaintiffs claim Clarisa kept her pregnancy ruse by posting a picture of an ultrasound and the baby nursery on Facebook, but if its a fake due date grew closer, she would have looked for someone with a baby that she would be able to claim it as her own.
Clarisa met, Ochoa-Lopez, via Facebook, in the forum of the group for the mothers-to-be. The two first met around the 1st of April.
On April 23, the reports say that the teenager’s mother went back to Figueroa’s house, after she has been offered free of charge, baby clothes.
While Desiree showed Ochoa-Lopez photos of her deceased brother, and Clarisa is what makes it a girl with a rope, then cut the baby out of her womb, and set the teenager’s body in a blanket and trash bag and dragged it to the trash can outside of Cook County, prosecutors say.

Assistant to the Public prosecutor’s office, of Both the Whole, as a representative of Desiree Figueroa, will be seeking a gag order at a hearing scheduled for next week, and the Whole will be the target of a man, Yovany Lopez, his family, and the community activists are not allowed to speak on the matter, so as not to interfere with the selection of an impartial jury.
Lopez’s attorney Frank Avila told the Chicago Tribune that said he is going to fight for his grief, the client, to be heard, “This thing needs to be talked about, and the victims need to be heard.”
