Chester Bennington of Linkin Park commits suicide

Singer Chester Bennington of the American poppunkgroep Linkin Park has of life bereft. That report different American muziekwebsites and was confirmed to the Associated Press.

Bennington committed suicide in his home in Los Angeles. His body was Thursday morning. (local time) discovered. He was 41. According to the entertainmentwebsite TMZ, he has hanged himself, but that has yet to be confirmed by official authorities.

Chester Bennington joined, in 1998, the then two-year-old Linkin Park. The band broke up two years later with its debut album Hybrid Theory. With the plate, including hits like Papercut and In The End, Linkin Park in one fell swoop, one of the founders of the nu-metal, a mix of metal and rap. That mix was also in the vocal parts.
