Cheers-actor Jay Thomas (69) died
Actor Jay Thomas, who in Cheers and Murphy Brown, played, died. He died at the age of 69 from the effects of cancer.
That left his agent and friend, Don Buchwald, know to The New York Daily News.
According to Buchwald died Thomas in Santa Barbara in the presence of his wife Sally, and sons Sam, Jake and J. T. “Jay was unique and was never to words shy,” said Buchwald, who is the actor of 35 years represented. “He was full of fun and wonderful crazy thoughts and behaviour.”
Thomas was from 1989 to 1998 to see if Jerry Gold in Murphy Brown. That role earned him two Emmy’s. Also he played Eddie LeBeck in Cheers and he was between 1992 and 1995 to see in the sitcom Love & War. Recently he played in the tv series Ray Donovan and he had guest roles in NCIS: New Orleans and Bones.
