Chef Geert Van Hecke came in Call 10 on Radio 1 with the toekomstidee to better meals to be provided in nursing homes, schools and prisons. Not self-evident, because they are often on a limited budget. Chef Sofie Dumont tested already what is possible.
In Call 10 set up all week long people from different branches of the society in their ideas for a better future. Education, work work, money, energy and the elderly: different themes are covered. Yesterday it was the turn of the elderly, and took Sofie Dumont the challenge with a budget of 4 euro for a delicious meal, just like in many kitchens for that to happen.
