Chad Michael Murray’s wife, Sarah Roemer, took aim at Sophia Bush marriage comments.
Chad Michael Murray’s wife appears to be just shady, Sophia Bush about the actress’ recent comments about feeling pressured to marry her former “One Tree Hill” co-star.
On Thursday, Sarah Roemer, who tied the knot with Murray in 2015 and the shares of the two children with the star, took to Instagram to share a meme, which read: “Wait… my producers also made me get married with Chad Michael Murray!”
“#doitforthecrew #ikid #ilovemyhusband #familyman #IwanttobeChadwhenIgrowup #13yearslater #iwishpeaceandloveforall,” Roemer caption of the post.
My person. I love doing life with you. Good bye Wilmington. Until next time! ❤️ #Wilmington #mylove
On Wednesday, Bush, who was married to Murray in 2005 for five months before calling it quits, said that marrying the actor was “not a thing that I actually really wanted to do.”
“Everyone is already 22 and stupid,” Bush told host Andy Cohen during an appearance on SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy.” “It was not what I really wanted to do. Ladies learn how to take up space in a way that men are taught they are entitled to!”

After being asked how she got could have been put under pressure to marry someone of Cohen, Bush, 35, replied: “Because how do you let anyone?”
“If your bosses tell you that you are the only person that gets a person to complete the job on time, and 200 people get to see their children in the night or they don’t, because our days start on time,” said Bush, adding, “Life is always loaded.”
Sophia Bush, left, was married to Chad Michael Murray, right, for five months in 2005.
“What the public knows, never ever — it is not the tip of the iceberg,” she continued. “[‘One Tree Hill’ co-star] and Hilarie [Burton] and I used to laugh and we were like: ‘If we have a behind-the-scenes show, the drama would be so much f-ing better than the drama that the writers write.”
After her comments, Murray’s rep released a statement, calling Bush’s comments “ridiculous.”
“Chad behaves in a completely professional way, and would never marry for any reason but love,” Murray’s rep told People Magazine. “Thirteen years since his separation from Sophia, he has a very happy family life with his wife and children. He has completely moved on and doesn’t feel the need to go in this kind of behavior.”
